Mortgage Dos & Don'ts
When buying a home there are things you should do to prepare and others you shouldn't see below our list to help you get started.

-
Do get pre-qualified - It can help you find a great real estate Agent and have sellers take you seriously when making
-
Don't shop too early - Remember it's important to know your house budget before you search.
-
Do Stay in Your Job - Although you can change jobs especially if in the same industry changing positions in the middle of the loan process can delay closing as we need to verify the new employment.
-
Don't work fewer hours - This could prevent you from qualifying. Prior to closing we will need your latest paystub.
-
Do keep good records - If you receive cash tips, be sure your income matches your bank deposits.
-
Don't close or deposit hard to trace cash - We need to verify any major deposits within the last 2 months.
-
Do stay on budget - Maintain enough cash savings for closing and your down payment we can estimate how much.
-
Don't open new accounts - No new cars, furniture or any type of new credit before closing. This can delay or even cancel your loan.
-
Don't sell personal items - If you do make sure you have a bill of sale but confirm with us before selling just in case.
